    Hi there,

I run from time to time an in-depth analysis over all my local harddisk
drives. This takes quite a while. During that time my computer is so
busy that I hardly can do anything else.

It there a possiblity to limit NOD32's part of the CPU processing time, so
that it easier do other things in parallel ?

Please do not respond, I do my in-depth analysis during the night - I know,
but I'm really interrested in an answer to my question.

    Michael

    Hi -mn,

Go to the NOD32 Control Center (down by the clock) > NOD32 > Run NOD32 > Extensions and remove the check from "Scan all files" in that window.

Does that speed up the machine during the scan?

BFG, I can not accept your proposal.

The task of an anti-virus scan is to detect viruses, worms, etc. in files were you most of the time had not suspected them. So I think it is no good idea, e.g. to limit the scan just to executable files.

In version 3, you can move scans to the background where they will be run with a low priority.
