Lightest: NOD32 or KAV 4.5?

    Ice-Kav may still supply it if you ask, but you are right it's not offered as download on official-sites. :)

    I haven't experienced the imon http hog people talk about. NOD is very light on my old old K6-2 with xp (using version 2.13 or something). I can't tell about kav 4.5 since i tried it with win98 and at least for me antivirus in win98 always take cpu usage to 100% every time i open a folder or a compressed file so they all are hogs. Kav 5 was a disaster to my pc. I think cpu usage is much more important than memory's in judging an av smoothness. After all, what can a gig of memory do when the cpu is too busy to use it? Thats my humble opinion.
