    Hello,

I just tried verifying the license validity in a copy of ESET Smart Security and it worked. Perhaps you have created a rule in ESET Smart Security's Personal Firewall which blocks access to exp01.eset.com and/or exp02.eset.com or another program/device running downstream of your connection is blocking access to them? These are the hostnames of the servers used to query the license expiration dates.

    Regards,

    Aryeh Goretsky

No one of these mr. Goretsky .. I didn't create any rule that relates to these servers ..

And I want to say that the license validity disappears not always .. so sometimes appears and sometimes disappear ..

Just in case this may help:
I've had the 'Please enable access to the expiration database server exp01.eset.com' problem with ESET NOD32 4.0.474 license verification and it got solved as soon as I included exp01.eset.com in Internet traffic protection -> HTTP,HTTPS -> Address management -> right hand side panel lists -> allowed addresses.
License expiration doesn't appear in the main interface page anymore though.

    Cheers,

    Pixelize
