I've purchased a further 1 year licence for SS yesterday and although the virus definitions appear to be updating it still has a red icon and says licence expired - is it normal to take this long to update the licence details?

    Hi!

Did you change username and password in settings?

Check, if you inserted it correctly. Make sure you are logged in as administrator.

It has been known to take a couple days or so to propagate the info between a PC and Eset servers.

Bubba is correct - the update date is delayed - we generally do NOT use the keep same username/password if the license is expired for this very reason - better to get a new username/password that works immediately than wait 48 hours for the old one to allow updates again.
