What do people do for drivers for this? Or do the Vista drivers work?

Well, a little bird tells me that Win 7 is based on the Vista Platform, so it might be fair to assume that the drivers are similar, though, this entirely risky as it is a just out of pre-Beta, Beta.

That would be my guess also, Vista drivers probably work. Although this beta is only x32, no x64 yet.

If Win 7 is based on the Vista OS, I'm not going to touch it with a ten-foot barge pole, no thanks - I've seen so much grief with clueless consumers buying new laptops and boxes with Vista pre-installed with no XP Pro downgrade rights, tragic to see this from MS.

Yeh windows 7 is backwards compatible according to microsoft. Anything that works on vista should work on 7. So they say :).

Good to know that for those that are now running Vista and plan on moving to Win 7 when it goes RTM.

I hate computing websites/magazines anymore, biggest snitches on earth, lol. Every time something good hits the net, they do a report and the whole planet knows. (No, I didn't download it, I doubt I can run the thing, lol)

7 works fine for me. 7 is Vista on steriods, yet XP on depressants. ;)

I use Outpost/Pro Security Suite and it works fine w/VISTA ULTIMATE. But I tried installing it on a platform with Windows 7 Beta and got BSOD.

Any suggestions? Is there a known-good Security Suite out there that will co-exist with Win7 Ult?

    Thanks,

    -greg

Use the competibility mode option on the context menu. Norton 360 and AV/IS09 works fine.
