    Sounds cool. I'll be watching this one with interest, especially so since I'll be needing something at the end of the year to replace certain other soon-to-be-defunct AS product.

    Interesting indeed. I'm looking forward to the release, and I'm curious how their Antivirus engine is.

    I hope they have Vipre tested by AV-test.org soon. As stated by that bird named Hilarious Hill-a-reeee "Words are cheep." ;)

    Million of dollars to develop? I wonder what the economics is behind this. How can Alex be so sure that VIPRE will generate enough sales to cover the R&D.

    most likely they base expectation on sales of CS2 etc.
    as it will sell as part of new CS aswell and solutions to enterprise customers ...

    that should generate enough to cover the R&D
    as bonus add end users

    I hope that it will be so effective against malware
    as poisonous as a VIPER is...:D
