We have a 1.6 TB NTFS Basic Volume on our Win64 Server box...it is out of space, so we added several drives to the container (using a 3Ware Controller) and migrated the volume to a size above 2TB. This is well supported by Win64, so it shouldn't be an issue.

We booted into our Acronis 10 CD to expand the volume, and the Acronis CD doesn't see any capacity beyond 2TB. We can expand the volume the additional 400 GB, but nothing beyond this. We essentially cannot see that last 800 GB, even though we know it's there, and until we can extend the volume Windows won't see it (the built-in Windows Extend Volume utility is a tragedy...don't ever use it, folks, bad things happen when you do).

How do we use the Acronis DD v10.0 CD to extend our volume beyond 2 TB? Does it support volumes greater than 2 TB? If not, when should I expect to see this ability?

    Hello CFT,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Partition and Disk Managing Software.

Please be aware that any of Acronis Software does not support partitions/hard drives greater then 2 Tb. Acronis Bootable Rescue CD cannot work with such partitions/hard drives either.
Most probably the support for greater the 2 Tb partitions will be implemented in future versions of Acronis Software, but I'm afraid that the exact time frame is not available yet.

    Thank you.
