    Hi,

I have an older pentium 4, 2.2 gigahertz computer with 1GB of memory. I recently noticed that sometimes my memory usage for the erkn kernal is somewhere between 100 - 250 MB. This seems very excessive. I am using version 3 of the software. Does anyone know why the kernal is so large. Are there any settings that can make it smaller?

    Thanks,

    Mark

Couldn't it be that you have a large log open?

    Hi,

I am not sure what you mean by having a large log file open. Would you know what the name of it is, where it is located, can I delete it etc.
