Laptop Hardware Troubleshooting: I know someone who has an ASUS Laptop which is around two years old. He says that both of the USB Ports no longer work. He says that in the past he has used these two USB ports for two functions: Printing & Cell Phone Charging. His basis for saying that the USB ports do not work is that he can no longer print and his cell phone will not charge. I do not have access to his Laptop. I have told him to check the USB Ports in the Windows 7 Device Manager to see if Windows says that the USB ports are functioning properly. What other Troubleshooting steps do you recommend? Does ASUS usually supply a Diagnostics CD? Thanks in Advance.
