    Hey vtol,

Some of us are running on beta updates, which would give you newer modules to your antivirus prior to them being released to customers.

If you goto the Setup -> Update in your setup tree. Click on the "Setup..." button under Advanced update setup: and click the checkmark for Enable pre-release updates.

Run a product update and try again. But be warned that you need to download just under 40mb of updates again.

I would uninstall and re-install from the fresh download - you do appear to be 2 modules releases behind in self defense.

This will be fixed with the next update and those with pre-release updates enabled will receive the SD module build 1016 as well. There are basically no differences between 1014 and 1016 except a fix to an interference with particular software.

The module in question was supposed to be updated with the update 5288 (the current signature db is 5316).
As for the other problem you contacted me, I'll PM you shortly when I get things together after a vacation.

    enjoy your holidays

my installation is way past 5288, yet the self-defense module remains 1014

You're right, the latest module didn't make it to the pre-release servers for some reason. I've notified our developers and asked them to fix this within today.

Update: The module should be updated on the pre-release servers with the next engine update 5317.

I got 4.2.40 and most of my modules are newer than the OP's.

    Hi chrcol,

"Of course" you have: you posted today (7 Aug) and vtol posted the latest screenshot on 27 July.

Anyway, here is what I have at this moment on XP-home, using EAV 4.2.58.3, with prerelease (beta) enabled:
