Labrea@Home question

Hi

Got my hands on Lb@home, Im running a 2k system with 1 onboard 3com card and 1 belkin wifi card.
I notice if I start lb@home it asks me to select an adapter, it gives two choices:

r??

If I select either I get:
The system cannot find the device specified.

If I copy the packet.dll and packet.sys out of the 2k directory into the directory that contains lb@home.exe and then start it, there is now no adapters in the list to select.

Im a tad unsure of what the problem is, has anyone got advice, Id really like to play around with this app.
