l&s on a old pc,how many resource need?

    i'm plaing to install l&s on a slow pc
    i would like to know how many resource & ram l&s needs to work

    and if there is a big collection of rules to setup l&s correctly to download

    i know i can download some rules from the l&s site , but they are few and only for some programs

    LookNStop is noted for its very low resource/memory usage.

    On this computer, there is only 1 running process, lookstop.exe, taking up 3.8MB VM and so it is very light.

    Once installed just load up the Enhanced rule-set and you will be well protected.

    thanks blackcat for the answer

    but does the Enhanced rule-set include rules for programs like miranda , dc++ , torrent skype , nod32 or they are rules only for the systemo_O

    The enhanced rule set and application control will work fine with client applications. For things like your p2p (server) applications you will need to create rules. Sample rules that can be imported are listed here on the LnS site.

    Look ‘n’ Stop is among a very limited number of good firewalls out there to use little resources, but the resources used can depend on the settings you use in Look ‘n’ Stop.
