I am not using GeSWall at the moment, but I would recommend the following

    a) Install Keyscrambler (Free) with GeSWall disabled

    b) Enable GeSWall

    c) Start your browser with the GeSWall Application Wizzard (right click context), give Wizzard some time to learn

    d) Choose Yes to start your browser and make sure you type in some text

    This should do the trick

Edit: noticed your Avitar is DefenseWall. Unless you have issues with DW, stay with DW (GeSWall does not have total untrusted file control and V3 FW is easier to use than GeSWall network control).

Want to spend time on security: In stead of learning how the GeSWall Console works, try mastering DW's Resource Protection to super protect your setup. With Resource Protection you can limit the user space freedom DW gives to untrusted aps (e.g. limiting access to registry HKU keys or my Documents folders). Resource Protection is DW's equivalent of GeSWall console, and offers as a bonus to seperate untrusted from untrusted (something which GW does not offer).

In my system, both work OK although tray icon color doesn,t change as expected but I have a bit older version.

I added a few rules also. Let me check in a copuple of days.
