I prefer to use software which does not need client email(s)
to fix what they should have already fixed
    before releasing their products. ;)

When it come to System Performance,
    most of these Maintenance Suites,
    cause more Harm than Cure...

I've been trying this kind of software since 2007,
and I haven't noticed any significant gain.
On the contrary, I've seen many wrecked systems
due to these Maintenance Suites. :thumb:

@ArchiveX I know that Kerish Doctor is safe, as I've done scans and actually checked the results to check for false positives. A few years ago it had minor issues with false positives, but after I emailed them about the false positives they released an update which fixed the issue. Yes, I agree that the false positives should have never been there, but at least they fixed the issue, as have some other vendors I've emailed about false positives.

In my experience 99.9% of registry cleaners/utility suites have at least minor issues with false positives, but this is not the case here. I don't recommend the use of registry cleaners as probably 99.9% of the time they won't fix any issues or cause noticable speed increases, but Kerish is more than just a registry cleaner.

I totally understand where ArchiveX is coming from. Believe me, I was there (and am still there) for almost all similar products. But, I have to agree with roger_m above; there is something different about Kerish Doctor. I can't quite explain it. I certainly understand people calling it "snake oil". But, all I can say is try it out for 14 days. See if you like it. If not, you haven't lost anything. I continue to be surprisingly impressed with it. But, to each his/her own....

Frankly, I've never liked the All-In-One Suites
    when it comes to Maintenance.

I am more of the individual/specialized Tools.

I prefer a collection of different Tools for
Disk& Registry Cleaning, Disk & Registry Defragmentation etc.

    For example:

    *Total Uninstall
    *CCleaner + Winapp2.ini
    *jv16 PowerTools X
    *R-Wipe & Clean
    *Windows Manager
    *Everything
    *Diskeeper

    hmm.
    jv16, CCleaner+winapp2, but dislike kerish?
diskeeper? in times where it does not really matter on ntfs?
(diskeeper was noticed as a software from scientology but that was only rumour i think ;))

i dropped raxco perfectdisk after version 7 on xp and tried nearly all other free or paid software. the best is almost gone or no longer under development since years. but in special diskeeper i did not get it working on xp nor sandboxie, a decade ago. if i defrag once a month this would be much, some drives dont get defragged for over half a year and it has no impact. in times with terabytes 4/10/25 gigabyte files are peanuts.

Just an update. My sound issue is still fixed. No more problems there. However, my overheating CPU issue came back. Kerish Doctor did not fix this issue afterall.

Instead, it is/was a dirty PC and dirty exhaust port issue. I took a can of air and blew out all the exhaust ports and all the nooks and crannies and this appears to have fixed the overheating issue.

BTW, in the process, I found a cool, little known, piece of software called NoteBook FanControl. (https://github.com/hirschmann/nbfc/releases) It works very nicely.

I use TPFanControl on one of my ThinkPads to keep the fan running at maximum speed to keep the laptop cooler.

There's no need to do that. It's free for a year.

    Hmm
I didn't see that. I did see if I pay for one year, I get two years.
Thanks. I'll go back and look more carefully.

This thread isn't that long, so I'd suggest that you read the entire thread. There is another thread that you also might want to look at:

    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/kerish-doctor-giveaway.388222/#post-2614321

I have it installed on all my computers; desktop and laptops. I'd put it on my work PC too if I was able to. I've never had a single problem with it and I believe that it keeps my computers running very well.

Used it before without any issues it`s about the only one of these type of programs that I`d let run on my system.

    Thanks

    Regards Eck:)

I like the way it pops up and says it fixed errors.
Nice but they don't even need me any more.:(
