    Topic says all.

I remember a person saying that Kerio will disconnect them from the Internet if somehow Kerio exits... But they did not state which option or if it is in-built...

I use Kerio 2.1.5 and have never had that happen in the several years I have used it.

There is a registry hack for the fwdrv entry and out there, you have to set the always secure option to on, that way, even if Kerio gets disabled by a worm or Trojan, you are disconnected from the net.

That is what processguard is for to prevent it from being shut down ;)

Yes, I have Process Guard installed and set it to protect PERFW.EXE from terminating. But I'm thinking of using this tweak, in case Kerio doesn't start properly... Will this AlwaysSecure registry setting help this? :doubt:

The Always Secure setting will block internet traffic if Kerio is terminated by any chance.

Does this reg tweak prevent ANY internet traffic while Kerio is not loaded?

Yep any or every net traffic is blocked.

I guess that can be good and bad. If you want protection, then it's good. But if you want to exit your firewall to check something on the net without it, then that's not so good.. :)

I would like to see that demonstrated with Kerio's Admin Password enabled.
