I tested one of the first betas and now I have been lurking on this thread for days. It seems like a good software, I can't wait for it to go final and start giving it some runs.
For what I've seen here it's very good. As a beta, there are some bugs, but Kyle's reaction time is AWESOME! I'm sure there is an excellent product coming out from this kitchen!

Precisely! I do this all the time, but more in terms of scripting for a particular application.

Example. This is why I ask about command line or .ini preferences. I use JK Defrag screensaver to defrag my hdd. I never use task schedulers. Ever. But I like JKDefrag screen saver, but not that often. So I make a simple .exe and change extension to .scr. Then set it as screensaver. This .scr now can do something, such as check the date/day and then depending start the real defrag screensaver or whatever else. Makes a very convenient method to do something on a schedule. So I ask for KCleaner to support command line with .ini support. This way I can clean efficiently (use cc now) and fast, then do defrag. Incidentily, I also stop avira's guard service before a defrag this way too. Works very well indeed if you have a collection of things avira finds offensive lol.

Are there any command line parameters available yet?

    Looking forward to your progress.

    Sul.

Command line not possible yet but this will be added for sure.
In my opinion this is a post v1.0 important feature.

    Hey kyle,
    im a bit confused
this new version still has the bug that it still stays cleaning and the bar still moves a little bit even after it finished cleaning.
also when first started the program it has the settings of the old version i tryed. i always used the portable versions and i assumed if i deleted the folder and then extracted a new version it would be at the standard settings?
are the settings stored else where? even for the portable version?
i like the program and i want to help get this bug sorted out.

Settings are stored in registry, even for portable version.
Use of file-based settings to be added soon in order to be truly portable.

    ah ha thanks.
btw i im getting closer to finding out how to reproduce the problem.
    default options work fine.
if i have defaults and enable "trim file names before deletion" i get the bug
if i have defaults and enable deletion methods 1 or 3 pass. i get the bug.
    standard deletion method works fine.
if i have defaults and enable "scamble file names before deletion" it works fine.

    Personally I've only used CCleaner...

Is there really any differences between these two?

I have just give it a fast check and CCleaner found 100 MB more, but on the other hand, KCleaner found files 1 sec faster than CCleaner.
But it does not need UAC confirmation, so it could load at startup unlike CC and I like scrabling and trimeling file names, whatever it means.
One important thing is missing though, file exceptions, especially for cookies, without that it is quite useless, because cookies are the devil.

    ### BLESSED EVENT : New index.dat is born ! ... any small ...:argh:

    - After download and delete of the SystemShield ( www.usec.at ).

    SystemShield ( from usec ), he has two processes : ProtectShield_free.exe , and InjectService.exe .

After delete this SystemShield, and Restart of Windows, I look to C:\15092008.log :
    C:\Windows\system32\services.exe : SetValueKey\REGISTRY\MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\RegProtectInjectService\Deleteflag=$00000001 Allowed
    ...
After clean with CCleaner , KCleaner and RegSeeker : I look to OpenedFileWiew :
    ...\Content.IE5\index.dat : 49 Kb
    ...\Cookies\index.dat : 32 Kb
    ...\History.IE5\index.dat : 32 Kb

    I am happy : BLESSED EVENT , but WHY ?!! I do not understand.o_O

    And you ?...
