I get constant update alert for KB3005628. I installed it few times already and it keeps coming back. It always installs successfully. I rebooted few times and it's still there. Anybody else have similar problem?
hqsec - I have SAME problem with KB3005628, it just keeps appearing for installation even tho it has already installed 3 times.
I also decided to hide it for the time being. I don't like ESET's icon with exclamation mark in systray.
Interesting. I thought it was a problem for everyone as both my laptop and desktop have the issue. They both have nod 32 av v 7 installed.
FWIW, I "hid" it on 2 pc's and now it's gone. No hidden update, not update available. Guess someone recognized it was a problem and corrected it.
Security Update, KB3005628 for .Net Framework 3.5 for x64 based systems Windows 8.1 64-bit: I have the same bug. Please read the #8 here= http://www.eightforums.com/windows-updates-activation/55455-kb3005628-keeps-installing.html Edit: Seems that problem solved, at least for me.
I had a similar problem some months ago in XP. I found the solution after a lot of Google searches: uninstal every single version of .NET Framework except version 1 and install 3.5 again. Of course, I don't know if this is applicable to newer versions of Windows or if you have more versions of .NET installed like I had.
