    I was installing windows updates and I have not been able to get KB942763 installed. It seems to be associated with office but I do not have office on my computer.

    Yes I am using vista. I had a preinstalled office 2007 on my computer but I deleted it because I thought my computer would run better. I have read that this fix is associated with office 2007.

    It is for time adjustment on your computer. Office should have no effect on this update.

    Does anyone have any ideas on getting this fix to install or to get it to not show up in the fixes that need to be installed?

    windows update KB942763

    Has anyone been able to download and install this update. It came up in the updates to install but I have not been able to install it. I would appreciate any assistance.

    This the message - "Update cannot be installed as a newer or same time zone update has already ...?"
    These file's present? Tzres.dll 6.0.6000.20712, Tzupd.exe 6.0.6000.20712, Tzres.dll.mui 6.0.6000.16589
