kaspersky's great on new machine

    Just a FYI Reloading the OS can be simply interpreted as restoring a image.

    not true! one of my laptops is just 1gb of ram and a 2.4 proc.KAV installed for more then 2 years.that laptop is really running great!no slowdowns!

    I have quick backups that I use. Took me a little over an hour to reload the OS and reinstall backups. I prefer that method as it allows the system to feel "fresh" if and when a reload is required.

    that's cool. it's usual thing, after found the virus just restore the system from the backup, the way you go.

    Never had a problem with KIS.
    Though, like a year before, kaspersky used to interfere with Video streams, but aside from that i've been a happy camper :D
