Kaspersky wins Product of the year 2011 award at AV-C

yeah, me too. It was scoring very good everywhere but I guess AV_Test dont count here

 

Your right AV-C doesn't consider what AV-Test has to say when giving out awards nor should it.

 

Congrats indeed to Kasperky Lab.

What they provide in terms of security is great though the product itself could possibly be made lighter.

 

Bitdefender is heavier than kaspersky..not to mention it slows down web too

 

All very interesting but to be honest is not the point that one glove does not fit all otherwise one product would have cleaned up a long time ago, there would be no competition or choice and we would have nothing to discussion (or even rant about in some cases ).

This year it is KIS in this review...next year...who knows, but it is all good if it keeps pushing the developers to improve their products.

Personal rant over.

PS. And yes I do use KIS...but have done so for years...consistently.
