Thanks but I wouldn't put Kaspersky again on my system if they offered a "360 day free trial."

I'm currently running a 30-day trial which has 22 days left. Can I put that key in and extend my license to 112 days?

    hi Sher..

I don't think so.. but you can try it you will loose nothing..
    i should try it myself..

actually i think that specified serial number only works for products which are downloaded from that special link:

    xttp://trial.kaspersky-labs.com/registered/J3WJIFT5FEV3RX7KCQM5/kis12.0.0.374en.exe

let us know if it worked for you.

    Regards,
    Amin

    Thanks for the info.

KIS or NIS are very good security suites, but I rather prefer something more talkative like Online Armor or Comodo.
Way better would (is) be Sandboxie and a basic free AV.

Better yet; Sandboxie and some Firefox add-ons like AddBlock and WOT.

KIS and NIS can both become quite "talkative". NIS by disabling the Automatic Program Control, and KIS by using Interactive mode instead of the default Automatic mode.

    Thanks for the link :thumb:

Question for beta testers, how's the new 2013 compared to the current 2012 in terms of performance hit?

    you're most welcome Mac

well, I don't know a lot about 2013 but my pals tested it and they all came into a common view point :

it's way faster than 2012 ( cuz you know some features in 2012 are absent in 2013 )

    Regards,
    Amin

    Thanks Amin :thumb:

I was thinking on testing the new beta but suddenly old bad experiences with KAV came back to my mind, basically issues regarding its performance and compatibility with 3rd party programs on my pc's (and I'm talking about stable versions).

I think I'm gonna wait until v.2013 is ready and see how it fares ;)

I've been using KIS 2013 for 3 days using this license and I find it to be a very good deal!

Free KIS for 3 months then I will restore back the image I made before installing KIS and I have another 3 months!

I refuse to pay for a license from Kaspersky because the last time I bought a 2 year / 3 PC license they blacklisted my license because I activated 15 times!! and it was simply due to restoring back my previous Acronis Images or formatting! (yes I format a lot when there are new drivers or major software upgrades) so this for me is a great solution!

Just my opinion, but if you are not willing to pay for the product after the 3 month free trial, you should stop using it!

I wonder if this trial of KIS 2012 can be upgraded to the new KIS 2013?

you may restore and use it for another 3 months, but it has no value since u cannot get your KIS updated ! because kaspersky company knows it ! and u are just using it with the obsolete definition files...

While I realize that many do not trust ebay, I just bought a boxed copy of 2012 KIS 3 PCs, 1 Year for $16.75 shipped. I have never had a problem with reliable sellers, and boxed copies.
Some get rebates and then sell the items for whatever they bring. I would not go to that much trouble for the profit, but it is OK. Others have older versions, and sell them.

    Hi, Jeff.:)
I am trialing KIS 2013 for 30 days on my laptop, and it is doing great so far.o_O

    Best,
    Jerry
