    Yeah,right........on my machine(OS vista premium,4GB ram,250GB HD),it's acting strange...weird...when i'm trying to install something,a simple game,from reflexive for example,it takes about 1-2 minutes to begin the installation...and without kaspersky(with another AV),it tooked about few seconds.....security yes,but bloating....NO
    so..........:thumbd:

Well I am afraid my reaction is the same as Fajo's

Reason. Early on I tried Mcafee.

All I wanted was the AV, but their suite console was forced on me anyway. It was a real nuisance.

But the show stopped was the business model at the time. You could only sign up for auto renewing signature updates. And frankly when I wanted not to renew they were one royal pain in the bottom. They ignored the notice not to renew and ignored my request to cancel and refund. I finally had to resort to telling the credit card company the charge was fraudulent, which as far I as I was concerned it was.

So would I ever do business with them again. Nope.

    Pete

Are people realizing these are enterprise products? Not home products. I thought when it comes to enterprise products its more about the control over the product instead of detection/protection.

both kaspersky and mcafee provide decent enterprise products.
there is alot of control with both.
my college uses mcafee enterprise and it works well.

I agree that mcafee home user products are horrible.
