kak removal with nod32

    I have a customer with hundreds of old emails that no says infected with kak but it can clean but the delete is not available also I would like to save a lot of these emails
    latest version of nod32 etc.

    I can't understand your post at all o_O First what says "no infection" , then what is kak and then last but not least what you mean by it can clean but the delete is not available

    Please provide more information

    strange...I can't understand either. o_O Anyway, I assume they have infected attachements and he can delete them because actually he can't save anything from an infected attachement. (you receive them from "nice guys" just to get infected).
    Anyway, more info is needed to give him a proper reply. :D

    KAK was a very popular worm back in the old Win9X days...a few variants, most were quite easy to find loading in the registry (KAK.* and *.HTA files)

    Can most likely still find some of the many removal tools there were for this one.

    Brain farts are universal..we all get them. :D Was so long ago...we can't all remember it.

    I was working at a larger computer service place back then...they had a big service department..people would bring in their PCs with problems. Man..for a while we'd have several KAK infected rigs every day coming in.....that one was a biggie.
