    Was browsing the net and came across this security software company, never heard of it before, but thought worth a check in todays ever evolving world of computer malware.
    (Sorry too lazy to check forum for previous posts)

    I don't know much about this I confess,but it has a checkmark certificate and at least 1 VB100% so it's worthy of looking at.Also it still supports Windows98,ever rarer these days, which will be of interest to some.

    Do you know any other big, respected companies keeping that support (up-to-date products)? Just curious. :)

    IMO, K7 is a good buy if you are in India since it detects nearly all malware floating in the region. Also because of their tie-up and huge base in japan, they detect a lot of threats in that region too.
    But on a worldwide scale, their detection is less in comparision to other players. But its adequate if you are not someone who delves too deep into the underworld of internet, since it will catch most (if not all) wild malware.

    Resource usage is low. And GUI is pretty decent. Firewall is so-so and like Rising they also have a basic HIPS called System Monitor.

    Would still like to see some kind of testing like on AV-Comparatives to give the users an idea on the international scale.

    Avast still does and Rising that I can think of.There are probably one or two more.
