Just how protected are you?

    LOL @ calculations.
    I will put it this way :
    50% of my security = software
    50% of my security = discipline (common sense)
    I prefer to joke about security. 100% security is always a joke.
    As you can see in my signature, it isn't much, nothing but freewares, because I have a hard time to pay for firewalls made of straw and incomplete definition/heuristic-based scanners.
    As long the security industry isn't able to offer me more than that, I won't be able to take security seriously either.

    If somebody asks me : "Is your computer CLEAN ?"
    I would answer : "I don't know, I think it is." and when you think, you don't really know.

    That's why I re-format my hard disk two times a year, to get rid of all the possible malwares, that went through my security softwares.
    It's like a broken watch, that still gives the exact time, two times a day.
    Well I have two brief moments of having a clean computer a year. :D
