Just bought Norton IS 1 year license

    I have the browser add-on for it disabled in IE9. I use WOT instead. I consider NIS safe search results next to useless. Everything is OK in its opinion.

    Beware that if you use the Ask toolbar a few of the adware/spyware cleaners will wipe it out. Adwcleaner is one of them.

    No. Even when the toolbar is enabled i still cannot see it.
    OK, nm I got it. Forgot to enable it in the view --> toolbars menu. It was enabled but hidden by default. Symantec should have offered an option to have it enabled or disabled.

    I have never seen it hidden/disabled by default. If hidden, it even tends to unhide itself after an update.
