how about sending a mail to support@diamondcs.com.au where you describe your problem and - more imporantantly - information with which they can recognize you as a registered user (i.e. the email you used when you registered, your name (I don't know if they store your postal address in their database))?

They'll surely send you that information again - if they have a way of making sure you're a registered TDS user.

    HTHH,
    Andreas

    PS. See http://www.diamondcs.com.au/forum/tds.php

I have also a question re the private forum.

Is it mainly a support forum (I am infected, please help me.) or is it a tech forum where technical details about trojans and AT software are discussed which should not be revealed to the public.

    TIA.

    Hi eguest,
quote from the page i referred to
Looking at the TDS forum right now again, I don't think either of your suggestions would be fitting if that meant to exclude the other. There are threads about TDS setup, about (new) trojans, about products in the making, about general networking or security issues etc. There is no strict policy, except for that the issue shouldn't fit better to "other programs" or "general" and so - and even then, it's up to the initial poster if he or she has reasons to discuss the issue not in public. I've never yet seen a thread moved for policy reasons when the users weren't agreeing beforehand.

    HTH,
    Andreas

Its more a family forum, as the TDS forum began (licensed only)

Another good thing is we know users posting are TDS owners and we can give them special deals if we choose, or information, or whatever we have for them. Im sure licensed forum members will be happy soon as we hope they will feel privileged in upcoming months ;)

Dont forget TDS helped produce newer programs, which everyone should be thankful for. So we thank those who have always supported us (you know I mean you) :)

I'd think the way to go would be register as a "normal" user on the public DCS forum over at http://diamondcs.com.au/forum/index.php, then send a mail with your username over there and with your TDS registration data (the name displayed on TDS startup like "10:06:09 [Init] Trojan Defence Suite v3.2.0 - Registered to Andreas Wagner" and maybe your email addy where you received the registration mail) to support@diamondcs.com.au

    Tried this already?

If I've got the right person (K) then you have access. Make sure you are logging in with the name you chose, NOT display name. You should have received an email when you signed up anyway and that has your login name listed in it :)

That's right, thanks Andreas, no secret place as the forum is always in my sig, only access to the private TDS forum requires that extra action with the email.

What printout from TDS are you awaiting?
Give up to get into the forum?
when you go to the www.diamondcs.com.au/forum do you see TDS (Private Licensed Users Forum) in the list for you and clicking on the of the forums there doesn't it give you access there?
Do you have forum cookies enabled and such? thought i had seen you in the forum there already?
If you can get into the forum, you as a licensed TDS user should have the same way be able to get to the private areas as well.

You mean you don't have a name displayed in the first line of TDS's startup messages like in the attached screenshot? Or: what does your TDS's about box say (below the OK button)?

Also, do you have access to other areas over at the DCS forum? Did you register with the forum? If so, in the registration form, the two topmost fields are/have been "Full Name" and "Display Name" - to login, you need to enter what you have entered in "Full Name". (There are login and password fields at the bottom right of the main forum view.)

Can you try and tell us more exactly what steps you have made and where the failure happens (and with what message, if there is one)?

    Andreas

    Hi pazuku,
    seems our postings crossed...

Don't give up, have a karma cookie instead ;)
Probably the message appears because you are already registered. Then it is just a matter of entering the right username (full name, not nickname) and password.
    Or try this: http://diamondcs.com.au/forum/member.php?action=lostpw

    pazuzu,
I'm sorry to hear about your misfortunes with registering. We haven't really heard of these problems before so it's an isolated case, can you please tell me which username you were trying to register as?

    Thanks,
    Wayne
