Very strong ?! Three days ago could not even install the JPF ! After successful installation (with a little help) are ready to talk about SPI filtering capabilities, man in the midle atack, sequence numbers atack, and, and....? SPI is a yoke ! Talented !? Excellent progress, shall I say! fiuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu..........

PS: JPF 2.1.0.7 comes out these days.

In version 2.1 Stateful Engine no longer make decisions based on information from the application layer.

JPF 2.1 Stateful Engine works independently from the application layer.

New Stateful Engine correctly handles the ongoing connections.

This is necessary if the machine performs the function of the router in one form or another.

Some new option stateful fine tuning by Registry Settings added (only for advanced users), anti-scanner improved.

Why do you not post the results of your own packet filtering tests as
then we can discuss based on your findings, I could then find time to test and compare results. Or do you just like to post based on what you think/have read rather than what you know from actual testing of packet filtering?

    Such as
could infer stateful packet filtering, is that what Jetico firewall is now doing? It is not difficult to test for, but you do need to set up and actually test.
