jdbgmgr.exe Hoax

    My ignorence made me delete jdbgmgr.exe without looking to see if it is a hoax first. I have winodws XP how can i recover this file. Here is the link to the info on the hoax according to symantec.

    I sent this message out to my friends as well so i need to figure out how to fix this problem!!

    I read this page and I can figure out how to recover the file. Can you step me trew it?

    Basically it says, you probably don't need that file.

    Hey pieter,
    Ok, as long as it wont make any difference. But does it matter what type of windows you have, or does it make you vonderable if you dont have norton... i ask for my friends that where aslo emailed this hoax.

    I'm not sure what you mean.
    Nobody has to remove jdbgmgr.exe, but the people that did should read this:

    On that page are also instructions for retrieving the file.

    Hi Billy: I take it you are using WindowsXP... then you can restore the file using System Restore by simply restoring your computer to a date prior to the deletion of the file and it's all back as before. :)
