    Hi all :D
    Thanks !!!

    A quick update ;)

As I told you: much more light in that eye :)
But at the moment I have even more problems with reading...
I have serious problems with it...
Well, that is what I could expect: the "strength" of my spectacles are not fitting....
Next appointment in the hospital for checking is in a few weeks.
Buying new spectacles within the next two months makes no sense: far too expensive.

(and there are also the problems with the retina in the back of my eyes that cannot be cured).

    Warm regards, Jan.

Cautious steps, one after another Jan. Don't over do or strain your eyes too soon. But when you are able, give us updates as things get better (and I'm sure they will!) :)

Sometimes the road to recovery is long Jan. :doubt:

Give your eyes the time they need to heal.

I'm sure in the end the results will be positive. :D

    Take care, my friend :)

    Hi Jan,

It's so great to learn you are back and okay. I hope the difficulties you mention are just due to the incomplete recovery and the need to adjust the eyeware as you mentioned. Keep your spirits bright and your health will follow!

    Hi Jan, welcome back!

If your system is still msagent ready, you might like the deskbot, reading whatever you want it to read aloud.
    http://www.bellcraft.com/deskbot/
    It's trusted and free.
You can do with the small minimum download, as you have the speech engines and all that, runtimes, and some msagent characters.
What happens: the program sits in your systray with the agent hidden or visible around your clock, you want some parts read aloud, to avoid the thing reading the whole page including buttons and links, avatars and copyrights just highlight and contr+c the part you want to be read aloud and the agent starts reading it instantly for you loud and clear.
Guess it will help you relax your eyes a bit and not miss the tiny characters.
    Spoken about tiny characters:
I wished the quoted parts for instance did not become so very tiny, just the normal size 2 like normal text would really be a great relief; i hardly read those quotes in general for that reason.

    Hi Jan,

I agree with Mike. Take small steps and be careful not to strain your eyes to much staring at your computer screen ;) ... I am so glad and happy to hear things are going so well in the early stages of your recovery.... I know it is hard to stay away but take it easy and be sure to take the time to get the rest you need so your recovery will proceed even better :D ....

    Your friend,
    Kent

Hope in the meantime you give your eyes rest and listen to them spoken by your favorite msagent. It's really easy, highlight the message, contr+c and he starts speaking that part for you. So Subratam's poem sounds nice! Maybe good there is no music here for Peedy can sing really false. Oh and in the meantime he tells you the time occasionally.
Anyway, in the meantime get well in your way of more recovery!
