    Hello,

I recently reformatted my PC and installed Itunes along with the other software I use. Since I've installed it when I start up my computer, a window pops up. Refer to the picture of the small window concerning an Ipod issue. I do not own a Ipod, but for some reason, I am recieving this error.

When I close it out, I recieve the other error window that Itunes had to close.

Could reinstalling Itunes fix this problem, or what could be causing it?

    Thanks,

    Gracie

    Hi gracie

Do you have removable media of ANY type connected to your PC when this happens ?

Try a uninstall/reinstall first and see if it helps. Download the latest version. Latest version is here.

Hi all and thanks for the replies. I have no removable media that I know of? The only thing I have is a printer and a scanner and a set of speakers (other than a keyboard and a computer mouse).

I just now reinstalled Itunes with the latest version and I am still running into the problem I mentioned in my first message. I guess I'll just have to be without Itunes. :(

    Any help would be appreciated...

    Gracie

Some says the latest version of iTunes are heavy loaded and add lots of things that we may not be needed. So I am still using iTunes v4.8 and it didn't cause me any problems and at least it sounds great.
