    HI all !!! :)

I don't know if I have to install regdefend in my system, I have NOD32, counterSpy(with licenses), ProcessGuard(free version for now), LookNStop (licensed). I want protection even I don't surf the net beyond some points. You know what I mean. So anybody who can tell me about regdefend I appreciated so much.. Thanks..

One of the primary ways malware can try to take control of your system is through edits in the registry, including alteration of entries, addition of autostart entries, and so on. These edits can happen in the background and you simply don't know they occurred. RegDefend at least requires that you explicitly approve the changes as they are initially made and provides some information regarding the attempted change. In contrast to something like a signature based AV which confirms that a file is a piece of malware, RegDefend utlimately requires your input with regards to whether the change is appropriate or not. Sounds complicated, but it really isn't.

A good description is available at the website.

Thanks for your info I will check the site and not complicated, very specific I will study and I will make my decision. Looks RegDefend will not slow my system, even I have those others programs running. Thanks again for your fast respond.

Blue one more question in this tread, RegDefend will work with my LookNStop firewall and my NOD32 and my CounterSpy and my ProcessGuard without problems?.. I know I must create rules in LooKNStop firewall. or it is something else that I don't know. Thanks in advance.

    Al,

I run RedDefend alongside NOD32/BOClean/LooknStop/SafenSec and they all run fine together. When I had PG active, there were no problems. I have Counterspy for very infrequent demand scans, no realtime processes since the other stuff basically takes care of everything and has backup, and no issues noted there. I use LnS as a pure application filter firewall, but the only rule needed should be one to allow an update and that should be straight http.
