    Hi.

Discovered some problems that occur when using the newly released 1.7.1 series of cygwin with NOD32 2.7 installed.

Specifically, it hangs rsync operations, and causes ssh-agent to hang, taking 100% cpu when ssh or similar tries to talk to it.

This was occurring for me on Windows XP SP3. The problem does not occur with version 4 of NOD32.

    The following workaround is available:

    1. Open the NOD32 Control Center [sic] and then select "IMON" from the "Thread Protection Modules"
    2. Click the "Setup" button.
    3. Select the "Miscellaneous" tab.
    4. Click the "Edit" button in the "Exclusion" group box.
    5. Add c:\cygwin\bin\rsync.exe. and c:\cygwin\bin\ssh-agent.exe
    6. Click "OK" and then "OK" to save the changes and you're done.

    E.
