I have Hard Disk Manager 2011 and there are times where I restore a files via mounting the Archive as a disk and that works great.

But there are times where I would like to "virtually boot" that archive backup (I backup the entire disk). I used to use Shadow Protect and it had that feature (the prerequisite was that you had to install VirtualBox on your own) and this was quite handy--especially sometimes when I wanted to export some stuff out of the registry.

Is there a way to achieve the same functionality with HDM?

    Thanks!

Unfortunately there is not such option in Hard Disk manager 2011.
