Is TI v10 Vista compatible?

Hi,
I'm going to give Acronis True Image a shot,
and I have a question to ask.
Which version of TI is Vista compatible?
Does it start from version 10?

Yes, 10 was the first.

 

However, in some cases, TI 10 will require that Vista be repaired after a restore. TI 11 automatically makes the changes to the BCD file and no repair is necessary.

But what happens if I don't repair after a resotre?

 

If a repair is needed and you don't do the repair, then you'll get the winload.exe error and Vista won't start. Everything is restored on the drive correctly, but the BCD file isn't updated to point to the correct partition.

TI 11 does this for you. TI 10 doesn't.
