I just purchased a new license for Nod32 Antivirus. My license is now valid 2/23/2011. Can I uninstall the older version that I am using and download and install the newer version of Nod32 Antivirus?

You may install your new copy of the top of your old copy without having to uninstall, providing the builds are the same and you see the prompt during the installation process maintain current settings.

A reboot will be required as well as obtaining the latest definition updates.

The OP may uninstall the previous installation but will lose any customisations done, meaning, the new installation will require to be reconfigured again.

This is perfectly fine, providing the OP understands the consequences.

You can export your current settings and import the settings into a new install.

My current version of Nod32 Antivirus is, 3.0.642.0. Stop me if I go wrong, I believe I can update to ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4. I will try to export my current settings and then import them into the new install. Let me know if I missed anything.

    Thanks all!
