    I am a registered user of NOD32.
Also, I am pretty sure I have entered my Username and Password correctly in the program.

I keep getting the following error messages (as examples) in my event log. Is this "normal"
Also, is there supposed to be a license key in the License Tab in NOD32 setup? Mine has no entry>

    No, that's typical.

    Hello Bob-T . Welcome to Wilders ! :)

    Ok

These error messages are from 4 days ago . Second , the event log only enters errors , not successful connections . It has reported that you couldn't connect to server u8.eset.com , which was down and at the moment is completely taken away , which means ESET NOD32 will not use it. The other errors (from u3 and 82.165 ...) shows that when your computer has tried to update NOD32 , it connected to these . They were currently busy servicing other clients and your NOD32 automatically turned to another servers which were free at that moment so that you got the update successfully . Nothing to worry about !

Make sure you are connected to the internet and open Control Center -> Update and press Update now . Your NOD should download and apply all the latest protection definitions . The latest is 1862

If you are single user , NO .

Thanks to both of you for the quick reply.

It makes me feel very comfortable with this program now.

BTW, I am a defector from NAV, TM, and OneCare. So far, in comparison, NOD32 is wonderful.:thumb:

It should be clarified that the Event log will not show a sucessful connection for which an update was not available for download. Sucessful connections for which a download was available are shown.
