Is there anything like SandboxIE for Vista 64

    None.......patch guard which protects the Kernel of x64 from stuff like rootkits etc. prevents use of any HIPS. Use Defender in Spynet mode that turns into a real time HIPS.

    Yeh unfortunately we're out of luck at this point in time as theres nothing that works exactly like sandboxie that i know of for vista64. Personally i just use an ISR software instead which reverts all changes made to the system. Its not as convenient as sandboxie but its the only option i have at this time.

    Does EQSecure work in Vista?
    I dont know, cauz I dont use vista.
    if it does, it provides a sandbox function, though not as versatile as SandboxIE. Anyhow its a hips, you cant expect too much.

    edit: have checked it for you. sorry, no hips or sanbox available for Vista x64

    You could set up a VM if you wanted to test stuff: take snapshot; at end of session: revert to snapshot base.
    Make as many copies of your baseline VM and keep them where you like.
    Plenty of options re P2V V2P
