is there a way to hide the tray icon ,for example under xp?

    hi

    i know there is the possbility to add a password

    but to avoid that a kid could disable nod32 v4 , is there a way to hide the system tray icon?

    I am no aware of any way to hide the system tray icon.

    However, if you add a settings protection password, then the software cannot be disabled unless you enter the password, so this would stop a kid from disabling the proteciton.

    There's no sense in disabling gui on a desktop. Otherwise you won't be prompted for an action when a virus is found or when you have firewall / hips (v5) working in interactive mode.
