It was something that another poster mentioned in my Best Antivirus - 2007 - NOD32 thread.

I'm still on NOD32 v.2.7. Should I wait for this new build or stay with what I have?

Have you been under a rock? Version 3.0 has been out for months.

    I don't check nod32.com.au very often. NOD32 v.2.7 works flawlessly so I didn't know.

So is v.3 proven and stable like v.2.7?

:'( So I guess this new build that someone mentioned is going to fix all the problems then?

Try it. At least for me it's working as well as the older version.

Will it fix them all ? I very much doubt it. ;)

The firewall/ekrn proxy issue is a deliberate design, not a fault as such but it looks like it will drive some people away from NOD.

Not true. NOD32 2.7 along with OA works great for me and many others.

Regardless of the problems some users have reported and regardless of the users that are not experiencing problems, at the end of the day installing the 3.0 version on your system is the only way to know if it is compatable with your setup. If you do choose to install, it would not be difficult to go back to 2.7 if the need arises.

Concerning your thread title Is there a new build of NOD32 v.3 Coming?, the same holds true as was posted here.
We'll also bring this thread to a close for the same reasons given in the above linked post.
