    ....forces websites to play movies in HTML5 instead of flash?

    Not sure if these would work for other flash movie sites, but there are add-ons for switching YouTube content to HTML5. You'll need to experiment with them to see if any meet your needs.

    You might try Shumway https://github.com/mozilla/shumway/#readme

    I've been testing it out on YouTube. With Flash disabled or not installed it won't play unless the video is HTML5 capable. If it's flash only you will get this:

    If flash is installed or enabled you can click a small Shumway button in the lower right to play:
    snapshot25.jpg



    Playing is not automatic with Flash. It is with HTML5.

    Wait, so shumway can play youtube videos now? Last time I heard it can only play flash demos.

    Thanks i will give it a try. Im suprized there isnt more extentions available.
