Is SpywareGuard for IE Only?

Hi,
I went through the diffrent SpywareGuard is made only for Internet explorer, When running does it protect other Browser, like Mozila/FireFox/Opera, frpm Hijack and download?

Here is a link where I asked the same thing.

For Firefox only, the last option Browser Hijack Protection is unnecessary because it is implemented as a BHO (Browser Helper Object) which is only with IE.
The Download Protection seems to be for IE only also (maybe a BHO), but I am not sure. You could leave it off.
The Real Time Scanning engine is a good idea and works on any browser.

But Is there any software that do any download and Hijack protection for Firefox. Cause in the post Spybot S&D has been mentionned, but unfortunately it has download protection only for IE.

 

Good question. I don't know if there are any Firefox specific Hijack protection apps. Does anybody know??

Just guessing, but it maybe that FF is more immune to Hijacking?
Do we really need Hijack protection in FF?
