Having problems with OS Selector during boot up. Extremely slow to ferret through the menus and stalls when selecting XP (default Vista) as the new OS. I have each OS on two separate hard drives and it finds the operating systems fine, but the software is "buggy" and slow. I know that True Image (TI) 10 was not compatible with the Intel P35 chipset until the software was upgraded to TI-11. Acronis support stated that the booting software is written in Linux and TI-10 needed to be rewritten to support the P35 chip. Is this the same for OS Selector? Is there a beta version of OS Selector that is compatible? Any advise?

As far as I know, OSS uses the BIOS to access the computer's drives and is not Linux-based.

You could install OSS in Windows and do most of the setting changes from there instead of when you're booted to it. You can also use OSS from Windows to select which OS you want to boot to and bypass the OSS boot menu.

Otherwise, if you're having these kinds of problems with it, you'll probably need to contact Acronis Support and see if they can provide a fix or custom build for you.
