Is Noomy.A detected?

    It's hard to say, It is not listed by that name but then Eset seems to name things differently than most other companies. There are a few new A versions listed in the last few days so it is possible they call something else. You can try VGrep at Virus Bulletin's site they try to sort the various names that AV makers use but it takes them a month or so to add new virii to the list. Here is the link;

    Most Av scanners added detections on or about the 24-27 september.

    This worm spreads by IRC chat clients and Email.

    Not sure of ESET name for file, but I believe it is detected by NOD32
