    Version:Returnil Virtual System 3.1.8774.5254-REL
    Update:Automatic uptade Hourly
    doubt:
1."Update Now" is always in BRIGHT BLUE
    2.Update data strange:
A."Verify Connection" Verify all the time.
    B."Last Successful Update N/A " N/A all the time.
C."Last Update Attempt" attempt all the time.

In these situations, is Returnil Virtual System updated?

    Thank you!

    Hi,
I changed the links to non-active as the first requires a password and the other two do not open.

When you try to force an update by clicking the update link, what happens?

    Hello Mike.

I don't use Returnil, and therefore I don't post here.
But I want to let you know that the links look very active to me at the time I post this anyway. :)

Edit: The links are now totally gone! Edited by the OP it seems.

    Mr. Coldmoon

    Thank you very much!

    Apologize for the bad links.
Still could not make the links work. Too poor skills. Sorry.

"When you try to force an update by clicking the update link, what happens?"
A small spinning wheel shows up and keeps spinning for a while, sometimes shorter in time and sometimes longer but no more than about 30 seconds.
The "Update Now" turns grey. And the "Update Now" becomes red again within a few minutes. Click it again, again the small spinning wheel . . . .

    Thank you!

    Within the last 17 minutes,
    I re-installed the RVS Home 2010
Three times clicked on the bright blue Update Now in the mode Virtual System Disabled
Three times clicked on the bright blue Update Now in the mode Virtual System Enabled
The Automatic Update records changed nothing but the time record
And the change of the time record was not according to the clicking time I did
but according to its own attempting times

Based upon the records above mentioned
it is very doubtful that the RVS Home 2010 on my machine is updated

    Thank you!

Take a look in your copy of the rvs3.log file:

    C:\Windows\rvs3.log

Do you see entries with the same day/time stamp as your attempts to get updates? What I suspect is that you are unable to connect to the update server for some reason. To verify, check your HIPS and or Firewall logs for the same time periods to see if there are any blocks for RVS.

    Mr. Coldmoon

    Thank you!

In RVS3, there is nothing else but the repetitious terms of "...failed to fetch...WINHTTP_CANNOT_CONNECT...."
Could not find any event records of firewall.

    removed RVS Home 2010.
RSS Home 2011 has been installed.
    Question:
In Windows 7 Professional, what is the log's name of RSS 2011 and where is its location, please?
    Thank you very much!

Same name for the log located in the following directory:

    C:\ProgramData\Returnil\RVS3\log
