is mwav4.4.7 a good back-up to NOD

    I'd say that combination must be one of the best possible, because you have the protection of NOD32's excellent heuristics all the time and when you run a scan with MWAV you have the protection offered by Kaspersky's unbeatable signature database.

    The problem with MWAV 4.4.7 is that it automatically cleans/deletes without any say so on your part, if there's false positives you could be in trouble.

    AFAIK it can't be updated anymore. Hence can't be considered a backup.

    relax your in good hands. But I would recommend ewido anti-malware
