    oops!
I'm formulating an opinion article [80-100 words?] on WHY MS can and can not drop Longhorn.
back in 12 hours or so.

microsoft is only speculating on whether or not to postpone a few options in longhorn to make it possible to get the new OS out on time in 2006 not to drop longhorn completely. The features that are withheld to allow it to be released on time would be released at a later date as an update.

I think they've dropped all the things that made Longhorn unique... incl. WinFS

    This is probably different.

I tell you what...they will not drop it, but BigC is right. If they do not stop pushing things out or delaying they might as well delay release for what will seem like forever...April Fools joke or not. On the other hand if they release their new OS to soon full of bugs it will be an April Fools joke on us users and no one will be laughing. :(

When I was younger I used to be on WinMe...dunno why but it seemed a whole lot better than 98SE for me, especially in gaming :)

Now I'm on XP Home - And I wont step back :)
