Is it Possible to install TI boot cd to partition

    I was wondering is it possible to install TI boot cd to a partition then dual boot into it.

    There is a feature in ATI called "Secure Zone".

    It basically sets up a hidden partition that only ATI can read and installs the bootable software there. It modifies your MBR in order to give you the option to press an F-key to boot into ATI when your computer starts up. So you won't need the boot cd anymore. You can also save your images to that "secure zone" partition.

    This doesn't really answer your question, but it is similar to what you want to do so I thought I'd let you know about it.

    Of course if the boot program is on a partition on a drive that's gone south, it isn't going to help you restore anything :-(
