Is it okay to do Trueimage backups "live" during the day on a server?

We have Trueimage 8 enterprise edition on our servers, and are wondering if it is sensible to schedule backup tasks through the day, eg: 9am 12pm 3pm?

Or is it a bad idea to run backups "live" during the working day?

Yes, Acronis True Image 8.0 Enterprise Server for Windows allows you to create backups on a "live" system without the need to reboot the computer or close any applications. You can continue working while the backup is being created. Please see this article explaining in detail how Acronis True Image creates a backup without taking the system "off-line".

Please also note that if there are complex applications such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle or Microsoft Exchange running on your servers it is recommended that you temporarily suspend them in order to preserve the application-level consistency. Please read this FAQ article and section 5.11 of Acronis True Image 8.0 Enterprise Server for Windows User's Guide for further details.
