Is ATI 2009 really an upgrade, or a diff. product?

I got a heads up from several posts in this forum, so I looked at the download size. ATI 11 (build 8101) is 138.9Mb, while ATI 2009 is only 86.6 Mb.

Seems to me that Acronis is short-changing those who "upgrade".

I noticed this too. It could be because the BartPe and other addons are separate files.

They were separate in 11 too.

To reduce the download size they have removed the parts that used to work and have replaced some of them with features that are totally useless.
You pays the money and makes your choice.

    Hello retread and everyone interester,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

We are sorry for delayed response.

Actually, in Acronis True Image Home 2009 some parts of interface were completely reworked, which allowed to greatly reduce the installation package size.

    Thank you.
